→ ask me about boost theory

people are following me

why is everybody looking at me

did i forget to wear clothes again

i swore last time would be the last time

but it’s half past nine and my dad’s dying

can you lend me a few dollars

i’m starving and mentally ill

i walk around helplessly

from person to person

begging for change

nobody cares what we say

let’s pick up guns and make them listen

let’s drop bombs on them from above

let’s spy on them with technology

let’s degenerate them slowly

let’s destroy their only hope

of escape from the ether

IS WALTER MACKEY THE “GAY BUKOWSKI OF ALT LIT”?
even tho i disagree with much of his essay on “#quickshit,” i have to admit, walter mackey”s confidence and tenacity is kind of boosteing to me.. mackey”s willingness to present himself as a total asshole is starting to remind me, fondly, of charles bukowski or even a formspring-era zachary german
charles bukowski also had a similar take on #quickshit, even in the age of the typewriter (my italics):
if it doesn’t come bursting out of youin spite of everything, don’t do it.unless it comes unasked out of yourheart and your mind and your mouthand your gut, don’t do it.if you have to sit for hoursstaring at your computer screenor hunched over yourtypewritersearching for words, don’t do it. […]if you have to sit there andrewrite it again and again, don’t do it.  […] if you first have to read it to your wifeor your girlfriend or your boyfriendor your parents or to anybody at all, you’re not ready. […] unless it comes out ofyour soul like a rocket, unless being still woulddrive you to madness orsuicide or murder, don’t do it.
i wil discuss “#quickshit” a little in my forthcomeing essay, haha which i keep talkeing up.. i will probaly post it tomorow
